PDCs will meet regularly across Denver - on topics and at times determined by the specific council's leadership. Do you have a particular area of interest that you know your colleagues would like to learn more about - Skills Development,Team Management?

The Sales Association fosters and encourages life-long learning at all levels of professional sales and has programs in place to meet your needs.  From the front-line Sales Representatives to the President of Global Sales… you will find a Professional Development Council (PDC) that will give you the tools to develop your capabilities, advance your career and increase the reach of your company.
 
The Sales Association has the following PDC’s to help develop the professional that develops business:

 Skills Development PDC

The Skills Development PDC offers events, forums, and roundtables specifically covering but not limited to skills development such as:

  • Prospecting for New Business
  • Closing the Sale
  • Best Practices
  • Presentation Skills
  • Handling Objections
  • Developing Credibility and Trust
  • Consultative Selling
  • Negotiating

 Sales Management PDC

The Sales Managers PDC is for those who manage Sales Representatives and offers events, forums and roundtables specifically for Sales Managers covering but not limited to:

  • Managing your Top Performing Sales Representatives
  • Managing personalities
  • Hiring Sales Staff.  What to look for….Who to Run From
  • Quotas.  Managing staff and production goals
  • Motivating Your Sales Staff
  • Tracking and Managing sales staff
  • Request for Proposal’s (RFPs)  Which one’s to bid on….Which one’s to say, “No Thanks”

Sr. Sales Executive PDC

The Senior Sales Executive PDC is specifically and solely for:  Senior Sales Executive’s.

PDC Members in this group will typically work for companies who generate annual sales of greater than $5 Million.

Job titles that generally encompass this PDC include:

-  President or Vice President of Sales
-  President or Vice President of International Sales
-  Chief Sales Officer
-  National / Regional / International Sales Executive Staff
-  Director-Level Sales Executive Staff

The Sales Association will hold events, forums and roundtables specifically covering but not limited to:

  • Tracking ROI
  • Setting Sales Quotas / Budgets
  • Pricing Product and Services
  • Compensation Structures
  • National and International Sales
  • Balancing Sales and the Marketing Department
